Harrison Mills is home to the world’s largest concentrated gathering of the eagles. The raptors are drawn to the region by the millions of spawning salmon that travel up the Fraser River to tributaries, such as the Harrison River. The Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival celebrates this incredible phenomenon, but the Season of the Eagles and Salmon runs until December.
